Last updated: July 2026. The short version: converting a statement requires uploading it, and we tell you exactly what happens after that.
Your PDF is uploaded for automated processing
Extraction does not happen in your browser. Your statement is sent to our servers and processed by us together with third-party recognition services. That upload is how the conversion works — if you are not comfortable with it, do not convert the file.
Deletion and retention
Files you do not choose to contribute are deleted under our stated retention policy. Processing logs exclude statement contents; we keep only what is needed to operate and bill the service — page counts, success or failure, and technical diagnostics.
Third-party processing
Recognition runs on third-party document-processing services. They receive the file only to perform the extraction, under their own data-processing terms.
Optional sample contribution
After a conversion you may explicitly opt in to contribute an anonymized sample so we can improve extraction quality. This is a separate consent, unchecked by default, and declining it never affects your download or your quota.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled, they contain only behavioral events — for example, that a conversion succeeded or how many pages the file had in broad buckets. Statement contents, account numbers, transaction descriptions, and PDF URLs are never sent to analytics tools.
